Hi! I'm Jessica, most recently a UX design intern at Ticketmaster and seeking new grad product design roles for fall 2025.
In a past life…
I completed a business degree in Toronto at the Schulich School of Business. After graduating, I led my first design project in a digital marketing role and developed an untapped fascination for people, their stories and how to create better journeys for them.
Currently...
I am formalizing my pursuit of design by studying at Sheridan College. I've been able to bridge prior work experience with my studies in Interaction Design. So far, I've helped develop connections between people and digital products at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, RBC and most recently EY Design Studio.
Philosophy
My design philosophy is anchored in a deep sense of engagement and a commitment to creating products that resonate with the people I'm designing for. I actively participate with the user community to understand their unique needs and challenges throughout my design process. I enjoy solving problems that requires plenty of research, prototyping and testing so I can be lead to a solution that is useful, meaningful and relevant.
I embrace taking initiative in the design process to pitch new and unconventional ideas. I am committed to driving positive change by challenging the status quo and pushing the boundaries of what's possible.
I believe that design should make people's lives easier, not more complicated. As a designer, I have the responsibility to create solutions that not only meet the expectations of the community, but to exceed them by serving products that are better and more enjoyable to use.
